Please note that all MINT members control their own privacy settings, and each trainer chooses what information is publicly visible. To protect member confidentiality, MINT does not share private contact details but can forward messages when possible.
Choosing a MI Trainer
Members of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT) have completed a MINT approved Training of New Trainers (TNT) workshop, which qualifies them for membership. This does not certify or guarantee training competence.
MINT also offers a voluntary MINT Certified Trainer Program, in which members complete professional development requirements and a formal assessment of their MI training skills to demonstrate a high level of competence in MI training. MINT Certified Trainers can be identified at MINT Certified Trainers.
Because trainers differ in background, skills, and experience, you are encouraged to conduct your own due diligence when seeking a MI trainerc—including reviewing a trainer’s experience, training approach, and references—to ensure the best fit for your needs.
